About Us |

|
The old town of Ancaster is located on the western end of Lake Ontario and is now part of the new city of Hamilton. We are located a one hour drive from Toronto and one and one half hours from Buffalo. Our league provides recreational opportunities to a population of 25,000 within the boundaries of the old Township of Ancaster. We have operated continuously in service to our youth since 1957.
Ancaster Little League provides a baseball and softball program for over 500 local children and young adults, in a complete range of divisions from the ages of 5 - 19. We field tournament teams for each division to play in the District 1 Ontario championships and also provide select and travel teams in various levels of competition.
We are the home of the World T-ball Tournament held annually over the August long weekend. We also host the Heritage Days tournaments in June and the Minor Invitational in August.
Ancaster has first rate baseball and softball facilities which is a credit to our continuing volunteer base and a very dedicated Department of Parks and Recreation.

Mission Statement
The objective of Ancaster Little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy adults.
All Directors, Officers and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of primary importance.
