In April of each year we hold mass evaluations for all players that are registered. This allows the league to fairly balance the teams when team drafts are held in the attempt to create as equal a level of competition as possible across all house league teams within a division. The Hamilton Baseball Umpires Association is hosting a Lavel 1 House League Umpire Clinic for umpires wishing to umpire in the HDBA league this season. This is for Ancaster teams in the Bamtam and Midget divisions of house league play.
The HBUA Umpire Clinic is on April 25th at Bishop Tonnos School.
Umpires should pre-register on-line at www.hbua.ca.
Hamilton is also hosting a Level I OBA clinic (initiation), March 7, and Level II, March 28/29 coaching clinics, if you have coaches who need to be certified.
They need to follow the registration procedures at http://nccp.baseball.ca
Level 1 is the minimum needed to coach OBA. |

All Bantam aged players are invited to attend open tryouts for the 2009 Ancaster Cardinals Bantam "AA" team that will be playing in the Intercounty League.
DATES: Saturday, February 21, 28 & March 7
TIME: 4:15 pm - 6:00 pm
LOCATION: Ancaster Senior Public School Gym
COST: $20 for three tryouts towards gym rental

The House League Rules for the Minor and Major divisions have been updated and can be found in the Rules section in the right menu. The league will have two Umpire Consultants this season, Steve Meyer and Pat Flynn. |
