Baseball Quotes

You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the goddamn plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all.

Ancaster Rookie Select 2008

Well another season comes to a close and what a great time we had! For a first year rookie ball team we came along way. All of our kids seemed so unaffected by our struggles at that beginning of the year which means that they were having FUN. What more could we ask for as coaches & parents!!!

We played all year as if we won every game and the kids NEVER gave up, It was really nice for them to come home with the 2nd place trophies from the Windsor Silver Tee tournament and to finally see all their hard rewarded in such a way. Also really nice for the parents & kids who have never experienced an "away" tournament to have an outstanding time !

My coaching team & I were thrilled to have such a great group of parents & kids and it made every part of our year enjoyable. Other coaches and League executives (from all clubs) were always complimentary about our groups sportsmanship and good nature which for me is an example of how great our team was and for this I am truly a proud coach.

Congrats to a great season "SONICS" and I hope to see you all out there next year singin your happy song!
